Well, we are here, at the grand ’old’ age of 55!! Both Lucy and I are ‘65’ers! Born 8 days apart, Lucy and I share many common attributes and characteristics. We have been on a fantastic journey together which we are still enjoying and experiencing.
In my earlier years, like most of us I suppose, we looked at 55’ers as being the older generation who would likely reach retirement and take a back seat somewhere comfortable and make way for the younger generation to run the day to day life chores and the like. Reaching 55 however, was very much an anti-climax! We both still felt like we did when we first met at 14 years of age – excited for the years ahead, enthusiastic for new experiences and slight trepidation of the unknown and what we may come across in the years ahead.
For lessons learnt in my short life, I am inclined to say the most important sense of purpose would be to preserve and value ones family and maintaining family values. Whilst it is most everyone’s aim in life to own a house, I will categorically say that family is supremely important.
Another pet axiom that I have is that a successful person is one who recognises an opportunity when one comes by.
A final adage I have which came from my Dad is to work hard and in doing so, the World will be your Oyster!
Finally, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation of the leadership and effort which our Staff invest in the Company. Our Company is supported by many talented and hard working individuals who come together to form an amazing Team Erasito.
We are looking forward to our Platinum Jubilee. Alalum! 🙂
