Third Quater of Year 2021

Given all that has transpired so far this year particularly in regard to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a single word that would describe our position would be ‘fortunate’.  Although we have been deliberate in the manner that we conduct our work and the standards that we set for ourselves, we have been fortunate that we have managed to endure the better part of the year and at the same time, maintain some of our traditional customs.

This has included the continuation of professional development of our Staff.  Two Staff (Fereti and Eroni) successfully completed the drone operator’s licence course whilst Naibuka have successfully completed a Japanese Health and Safety at work programme (OHS).  Well done in your efforts in your continued training.

We have recently strengthened our OHS protocols and work practices associated with working during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  These practices have put us in good stead as we have been able to protect ourselves whilst conducting our work in a safe and practical manner.

A recent major event for us is the effort that we all contributed towards funding and purchasing food items towards creating over 100 food parcels for distribution to disadvantaged communities between the Lami-Suva-Nausori corridor.  This was a joint effort with our Beca partners in New Zealand and Fiji through our branding Erasito Beca.  Thank you everyone for your support.
