First Quarter of 2020

The events that have taken place in the first quarter of 2020 will not be forgotten too quickly.  Perhaps the more notable event is our farewell to our long serving Staff member Paul Briones.  Paul (a Mechanical Engineer) came to us with his sister Cora (a Civil Engineer) some thirteen years ago.  Like most Filipino people whom we have been fortunate to have met, Paul was humble in his mannerisms and hard working.  Paul’s presence will be missed by the Company and we wish him well in his future endeavours at Beca in Auckland.

Our Staff and Company day trip and visit to Lutu Village in Naitasiri left us with memorable and happy memories.  We were fortunate to have been given our very own heartfelt welcome to an otherwise remote and serene part of Fiji and share in a cultural exchange which most of us had not previously experienced.  I am sure it was a proud moment for our Staff member Naibuka Naicegulevu who also hails from Naitasiri and shared in the Kava and was able to communicate with our hosts in his own dialect.  We all left Lutu Village in the early evening with a high sense of gratification and happiness.
