Erasito Consultants Limited were engaged to undertake the design work associated with the rehabilitation and remedial work on Tram Bridge 38 on the Nadi Back Road. The bridge suffered sever damage during heavy rains and flooding which was experienced in the Western Division of Fiji and resulted in a partial collapse of the existing continuous superstructure and intermediate pier. The design work involved the design of bored piles to support an existing abutment and the design of single, simply supported girders with a total clear span of 18m.
