Erasito Consultants Limited were engaged to undertake the structural assessment of the existing Parshotam Building situated at Greig Street in Suva. Areas which ECL were engaged to investigate included the analysis of the entire structure for cyclone forces using a 57 m/s wind speed in accordance with the Australian Wind Code (AS1170.2), design of member sizes of the entire roof structure to check stability of members, assess building loadings i.e. seismic loading, dead loads, live loads, etc using NZS 4203:1992, carry out a fire assessment report on the entire structure using the NZS Fire Code of Practice and to ensure that all OHS requirements are complied with.
